ReviewWe had a very relaxing holiday at East Blockhouse. We were made to feel very welcome and the accommodation was lovely. We took 4 dogs with us in October and they loved it. Long walks, beautiful beaches, stunning vistas, peace and seclusion. Even the weather was good for the majority of the time. Returned home feeling chilled and really relaxed. We hope to return soon. Don't change a thing! Alison and Mick

ReviewI found Ty Gaer by chance while trying to locate a dog friendly property at late notice. What a find! Stunning location with great views, modern facilities and everything you need for a family with dogs. A lot of properties aren't interested in more than 2 dogs. Not Ty Gaer. Jennie & Simon (the owners) have thought of all eventualities for your stay, and provide detailed recommendations on beaches to visit and local pubs for food. Jennie made us feel very welcome during our stay and we are already planning our next trip.
Owners ResponseThank you for so much for such a lovely review. We are thrilled that you had a great holiday at Ty Gaer and we look forward to welcoming you back for a future holiday. Best Wishes Jennie and Simon.

ReviewWhat a gem of a place. The accommodation in Ty Haf is very comfy, welcoming and beautifully arranged, every need considered,in a stunning and most peaceful location and well and truly dog friendly. No need to travel far for fantastic beaches and easy to venture further for other locations/attractions if desired.Particularly enjoyed Angle beach(amazing soups and cake etc from the beach side cafe,Freshwater West (another lovely place for food/drinks at top end of beach) and Bosherton and the Lily ponds. Totally fell in love with this place and already booked return! Thank you Jennie and Simon for making such a haven.

ReviewJust returned from a week's stay in Ty Gaer and had a great time despite some variable Welsh weather. The property is a converted single storey ex army building in an isolated location on the Angle peninsula and has sea views from every window. It has been beautifully finished on the inside and was spotless. A very thoughtful welcome pack awaited our arrival and the property was not only well equipped, but lovely and warm due to underfloor heating The local beach Freshwater West is absolutely beautiful, about a 15 minute walk across fields (or 5 min drive) and has a wonderful, very friendly cafe serving excellent home made food. There are lovely walks from the door and in the surrounding area and everywhere is also very dog friendly. Our dogs thought it was doggie heaven and enjoyed racing round the spacious fully enclosed garden, and making friends with the local horses that roam free on the cliff top. Jennie and Simon were great hosts and I would highly recommend East Blockhouse.
Owners ResponseThank you very much for such a lovely review. We are really pleased that you had a great holiday and that you would recommend us. We hope to be able to welcome you back in the future. Best Wishes Jennie and Simon.
