We have been holidaying at the blockhouse since 2019 , the accomodation is of a high standard, it has a secure garden for our dogs, its in a peaceful location , it has  lovely views from all windows, we love it , lovely beaches nearby to visit , theres nothing not to like and jenny and simon the owners are lovely too

What can we say but WOW! It was our first visit to Ty Gaer at East Blockhouse & we were blown away. 

We usually choose secluded accommodation so we were slightly apprehensive about there being two holiday accommodations on one site but we needn't have worried! 

The location was perfect - so quiet & tranquil - literally the only noise we heard was the birds & the waves crashing against the rocks! The garden also had the most perfect view & we enjoyed spending our evening just watching the sunset & the ships coming & going. 

The accommodation itself was excellent - well equipped, well laid out & spotlessly clean. 

Simon & Jennie were also really welcoming & really helpful - providing the perfect balance between being there if you needed anything but letting you just enjoy your holiday. And the information folders - especially all the information about the beaches was extremely helpful. 

Thank you for a wonderful holiday - we will definitely be back again soon!

We arrived at Ty Haf after a five and half hour journey. 19/04, for 1 week.

On arrival we were met by Simon who gave a comprehensive tour of the site, there was a great welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, wine and doggy treats as well as welsh cakes, (now for those who have never tried them slap on some butter and enjoy Nana Val loved them!) and because it was Easter, they left us an Easter bunny. (These little touches)!!!  Now for the accommodation, spotlessly clean, very warm ( I couldn't believe there were no radiators but dont worry the underfloor heating is amazing, ( a revelation to me!) The sundry appliances were great with full instructions on their use. Now, for us (and we have stayed in many places), there is nothing better than having sharp knives and non stick fry pans, they have catered for your every need! free washing machines and tumble dryer, games room for kids and adults, No Charge! but Simon will explain, there is also an honesty box with a good selection of sundry items, If you get stuck then go to the little shop on wheels in Angle they will have what you need but Simon and Jenny visit the local shops at some time so if you are desperate for an item give them a call and they can pick up what you need. This has got to be one of the most secure doggy sites we have visited ( We have a Harry Houdini and even she was secure, thanks Simon) All that is left to say, in the words of Carlsberg! if they made accommodation, this would be the best accommodation in the world. (and we have been all over it) I dont have enought time to talk about beaches, but I must mention one! Fresh Water Beach West ( Dobbies grave is there for all you Harry Potter fans, leave a sock or message).  I cannot praise East Blockhouse enough, a long drive for sure but worth every mile. Disabled friendly and brillo, We will be back, already booked for Sept, Wow Wow Wow.

Perfect as ever.  If you enjoy nature and walking then the location of East Blockhouse is ideal.  The accommodation is really comfortable and Jennie and Simon have thought of everything guests might need.  We have visited multiple times over the years and always find it to be a place where you can really relax. There is a lot of outdoor space to explore on site and the coastal path is on the doorstep. It is a short walk down to Angle which has a lovely sandy beach which is great for rockpooling at low tide.  Angle has three great places to eat and it is only a short drive to Pembroke and Stackpole Quay.  We really can't recommend it highly enough!

A wonderful setting with sea views, sunrises, sunsets and no light pollution, perfect for stargazing. A magical place well equipped with extra touches of comfort including wine and welsh cakes and dog treats! The accomodation is comfortable and welcoming and very quiet. Ideal for exploring the pembrokeshire coastal path. Our dog settled in immediately and also had a safe secure grassed area outside to play in. Many thanks to Jennie and Simon for their hospitality. We hope to visit again soon
